How to Reset or Change Your PDFMonkey Password
Last updated March 23, 2026
PDFMonkey does not have a password change option inside the Dashboard. To change or reset your password, use the password reset flow from the Sign in page.
How to reset your password
- Go to the Sign in page.
- Click Forgot your password? below the sign-in button.
- Enter the email address associated with your account and submit the form.
- Check your inbox for an email from PDFMonkey containing a password reset link.
- Click the link in the email. It opens a page where you can set a new password.
- Enter your new password and submit. You are redirected to the Sign in page.
- Sign in with your new password.
Reset link expiration
The password reset link expires after 6 hours. If it has expired, go back to step 1 and request a new one.
Password requirements
Your new password must be between 6 and 128 characters. There are no additional complexity requirements (uppercase, symbols, etc.).
Social login accounts
If you signed up using Google, GitHub, or Microsoft, you do not have a PDFMonkey password. You sign in through your social provider instead. The password reset flow does not apply to social login accounts.
If you want to add a password to a social login account, contact support for assistance.
Troubleshooting
I did not receive the reset email
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Make sure you entered the exact email address you used to register.
- If you signed up via Google, GitHub, or Microsoft, you do not have a password-based account (see Social login accounts above).
- If you still cannot find the email, contact support.
The reset link is not working
- The link may have expired. Reset links are valid for 6 hours. Request a new one from the Sign in page.
- Make sure you are clicking the most recent reset link. If you requested multiple resets, only the last link is valid.
